At Vamos Local, our goal is to build a travel-experience marketplace connecting travelers with genuine local perspectives. We believe in respect, inclusivity, cultural appreciation, and local safety.

2. Guidelines for Tourists

Tourists using the Vamos Local platform are expected to:

  • Respect local culture: Value the historical, cultural, and private spaces suggested on itineraries.
  • Value the guide's time: Arrive punctually at the meeting point. Communicate delay notices through the in-app chat.
  • Safety first: Follow safety advisories and guide guidelines during the tour.

3. Guidelines for Guides & Creators

Guides and content creators agree to adhere to high standards of hospitality and professionalism:

  • Accuracy: Ensure your tour stops, neighborhood facts, and schedules are accurate. Do not fabricate history or facts.
  • Reliability: Arrive at least 10 minutes early. Do not make last-minute cancellations without urgent reason.
  • Inclusivity: Welcome tourists from all backgrounds with equal respect and professional service.

4. Safety & Harassment Policy

We enforce a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination, hate speech, harassment, physical danger, theft, or offensive language. Abusive interactions between guides and tourists in chat or in person will result in immediate permanent account termination.

5. Reporting Violations

If you experience or witness behavior that violates these guidelines during a tour, in chat, or on our blog comment boards, please report it immediately by sending an email to [email protected].

6. Enforcement & Suspensions

Vamos Local holds the right to investigate reported violations, audit chat histories, and temporarily freeze or permanently delete accounts found to be acting against the safety and well-being of our community.
