Creator Agreement

This Creator Agreement governs the relationship between Vamos Local and local creators ("Creators") who generate, suggest, or publish self-guided digital itineraries, tour stops, and related content to be sold or distributed through the Vamos Local platform.

By submitting itineraries or suggesting stops, you agree to become a Creator on the Vamos Local marketplace under these terms.

2.1. Marketplace Model: Creators set the pricing for their self-guided digital itineraries, subject to marketplace pricing guidelines established by Vamos Local.

2.2. Platform Fee: Vamos Local retains a 20% platform commission on all sales of digital itineraries. The remaining 80% is credited to the Creator.

2.3. Surcharges and Taxes: Payment processing fees (e.g. Stripe or Bitcoin transaction costs) are covered by the platform fee. Creators are solely responsible for income taxes related to their earnings.

3.1. Content Ownership: Creators retain intellectual property ownership of the raw texts, personal photographs, and custom narratives they submit.

3.2. Marketplace License: By publishing an itinerary on Vamos Local, Creators grant Vamos Local a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, display, translate, format, index, and market the itinerary stops, routes, and text for users on the platform.

3.3. Personal Use Only: All digital itineraries are sold to travelers strictly for personal, non-commercial use. Vamos Local enforces terms blocking travelers from redistributing or copying Creator content.

All submitted itineraries, stops, and descriptions must satisfy our quality guidelines. Creators agree that they will not publish content that:

• Contains plagiarized materials or descriptions copied from other websites.
• Features outdated, dangerous, or illegal routing recommendations.
• Uses low-quality, blurry, or unauthorized copyrighted images.
• Violates the Vamos Local Community Guidelines.

Vamos Local reserves the right to moderate, edit for grammar/formatting, or refuse publication of any submitted content.

Creator earnings accumulate in their profile balance. Remittances are processed monthly on the 10th business day of the following calendar month, provided the balance exceeds the minimum payout threshold ($50 USD). Payouts are made via bank transfer or Bitcoin Lightning transfer as configured.

Creators represent and warrant that they possess all necessary licenses, permissions, and rights to license and sell the itinerary details and images they upload, and that their suggestions do not infringe upon any third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.

Creators may unpublish their digital itineraries at any time. However, already purchased itineraries must remain accessible to travelers who bought them. Vamos Local may terminate Creator access or suspend listing items immediately if a breach of this agreement is determined.
