History
Villa Harris was conceived and built at the end of the nineteenth century by British journalist Walter Burton Harris, The Times correspondent in Morocco. Facing the Mediterranean, it became associated with Tangier's international social life and was later restored as a museum presenting roughly two centuries of art in Morocco and the artistic dialogue between Morocco and the Mediterranean.
