History
Originally installed in 2020 as Latin America's largest wheatpaste ('lambe-lambe') piece, the artwork was revitalized into a permanent painted graffiti-tile mural in July 2023 on what would have been Elza Soares' 93rd birthday. Elza's life and voice embodied fierce resistance against racism, poverty, and gender violence, leaving an indelible imprint on Brazilian culture.
