A monumental 825-square-meter urban mural honoring the incomparable Brazilian singer and cultural icon Elza Soares (1930–2022). Located on the blind facade at Rua da Consolação, 1681, directly behind the historic 1º GB Posto Consolação fire station, the artwork is a vibrant reinterpretation created by visual artist Felipe Cama based on an iconic photograph by Frâncio de Holanda. History
Originally installed in 2020 as Latin America's largest wheatpaste ('lambe-lambe') piece, the artwork was revitalized into a permanent painted graffiti-tile mural in July 2023 on what would have been Elza Soares' 93rd birthday. Elza's life and voice embodied fierce resistance against racism, poverty, and gender violence, leaving an indelible imprint on Brazilian culture.
